Bruce Edward Arrington, 35, of the 1000 block of Carruthers Ave., a book store clerk, died in Nashville. 

Mr. Arrington was born in Southampton County, Va., and was a member of Windsor Baptist Church in Windsor, Va. He was an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow-Chanco Lodge, and was listed in Who's Who in American High Schools, 1977-78 and 1978-79 editions. 

Survivors include his mother, Mildred Baugham Arrington of Windsor, Va.; two sisters, Diane Arrington of Windsor and Anita A. Craig of McKenney, Va.; a brother, William C. Arrington Jr. of Southampton County, Va.; maternal grandmother, Mazie C. Baugham of Franklin; and two nephews. He was predeceased by his father, William C. Arrington Sr. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollywood Cemetery , Newsoms , Va., by the Rev. James B. Crocker and the Rev. Kenneth Williams. The family will be at the home of his mother, 22 E. Norfolk & Western St., Windsor. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, Va., is handling arrangements.
