 Cecil Cary Adams Jr., 43, of Vicksburg Road, died July 19, 1998, at his home. 
A self-employed farmer, Cary was a member of Holy Neck United Church of Christ, Sumerton Hunt Club and Gates Hunt Club. 
Cary is survived by his wife, Delores Ann Roach Adams; his parents, C.C. and Priscilla Adams; two daughters, Lauran ''Kelli'' Adams Councill and her husband, Will, and Tiffany Erin Adams; two sisters, Frances Adams Glover and her husband, Morris, and Dianne Adams Brinkley and her husband, Jack, all of Suffolk. 
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Neck United Church of Christ by the Rev. Scott Fuller. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Wachovia Bank, 300 E. Second Ave., Franklin, Va. 23851.
