Obituary of PAUL T. ACEY The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - June 6, 1994 Paul Thomas Acey, 65, of the 100 block of Palmyra Drive, died June 4, 1994, in Obici Memorial Hospital. Mr. Acey was born in Suffolk. He had retired from Ford Motor Co. with the Quality Control Department in 1985 after 30 years. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church. He was a member of Suffolk Masonic Lodge 30 and was an Army veteran of Korea. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary Holland Acey and Charles E. Acey. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Forehand Acey; a daughter, Paula Acey Ridge of Virginia Beach; a son-in-law, Craig Ridge of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Bernice A. Brinkley, Maybell A. Bowden and Florence A. Williamsf, all of Suffolk and Rachel A. Upton of Portsmouth and Flossie A. Liverman of Zuni; and two brothers, Henry Acey of Zuni and Charlie Acey of Currituck, N.C. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by Dr. Merle D. Correll. Burial will be in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery.
