Dr Samuel Blythe Kello, Jr was a physician. He attended University of Pennsylvania earning a Medical Degree with a Specialty of Acute Gastritis.
Samuel Blythe Kello Jr died at Fort Nelson in Portsmouth, Virginia, a post Named for General Thomas Nelson, governor of Virginia. Fort Nelson (1776-1779, 1794-1824), originally established in 1776 during the Revolutionary War, was attacked 9 May 1779 and burned down. It was rebuilt in 1794 near the present location of the Portsmouth Naval Hospital and abandoned in 1824.
