Catherine Dunkley (1716-1758)

Catherine Dunkley was born in 1716.

Catherine Dunkley died in 1758.

Apparently, John and Catherine left no issue.

Catherine Dunkley left a will in Southampton County.

Catherine Joyner, daughter of Thomas Joyner and Patience Matthews, married John Dunkley in Isle of Wight County in 1740.

Thomas was born circa 1680, in Isle of Wight, Co, Va.

Patience was born circa 1679, in of, Isle of Wight, Co, Va.

Catherine Joyner, siblings include Jonathan Joyner, Mathew Joyner, Joel Joyner, Elizabeth Boykin, Cherry Boykin, Patience Hodges and Jona Joyner.

Jona Joyner had five children: Patience, Alexander, Mary, David and Jonathan.

The information I have on our family is that John and Moses were brothers and their father was John Dunkley of King and Queen County, VA. who later moved to Brunswick. John was indeed married to Catherine Joyner and Moses was married to Martha (no last name). Moses and Martha had 3 children: John, Robert, and Ralph. Ralph never married but was named in Catherine Joyner Dunkley's will as nephew, the son of Moses Dunkley.
